Description: The Oklahoma Health Research Program applies funds for research projects that pertain to improving the quality of human health. These projects usually have a span of one to three years in the program. $10,000 per year is the minimum funding a project would receive and $135,000 per year is the maximum funding a project would receive. Applicants will have access to the program’s Proposal Preparation Workshops to help in the application process.
The proposals are ranked and reviewed by experienced health researchers and usually live outside of Oklahoma. After acquiring the awarded grants, researchers will be able to produce a sample size large enough to attain larger grants from the pertinent federal agencies and other large funding organizations.
